Today on 19th May global financial market witnessed panic selling after Germany imposed ban on short selling. Our market too followed the global cues and closed deep in the red. Nifty closed down 146 points and BSE Sensex closed 467 points down. Market depth was hugely negative and only 184 stocks gained in NSE against 1167 declining stocks.

 

 

 
NIFTY VIEW FOR 20-05-2010

 

 

Nifty closed well below 200 DMA indicating further weakness in our market. For the last few days we have been warning to avoid positional buying and those who have followed it must be in advantage now. We maintain our position that no positional buying for now and allow the market to stabilize. Nifty support levels for intraday are 4908-4855-4829 and Resistance levels are 4960-4973-4987.

 

 

 

 

BANKNIFTY FUTURE:-  Intraday levels for today are support at 9081-9001-8972-8918 and resistance levels are 9189-9244-9298.
